SQL Real Time Case Study — 1 #International-Debt-Statistics-Analysis

Just like citizens go to a bank if they need money to grow economically, countries also approach the World Bank for loans to support development in their countries.

In this project, We will explore countries’ debts(in USD) to the World Bank using SQL.

The dataset belongs to the World Bank and contains information about how much money countries worldwide owe to the Bank.

SQL Project:

We are going to find the answers to questions like,

Ad-Hoc request from the stakeholders:

  • How many distinct total countries are in the dataset?
  • Finding out the distinct debt indicators
  • What is the total amount of money that countries owe to the World Bank?
  • Find out the top 5 country that owns the highest amount of debt along with the amount
  • What is the mean debt owed by countries for different debt indicators?
  • Which country owes the highest amount of debt in the category of long-term debts (DT.AMT.DLXF.CD)?
  • Most common indicator in which the countries owe their debt?
  • Find out For which indicator each country has maximum debt.
